Free entry or "Pay What You Want"

We have now been informed that we play Matlock Town Res on Saturday 5th December, 3.00pm Kick-Off @ Watnall road.
This comes about after being told we had no game as the original fixture was to have seen us play Bulwell - postponed because Bulwell have a cup game.
This obviously presents a problem for the players as they have made alternate plans thinking we had no game - another management headache!!
As the original fixture with Matlock was abandoned due to floodlight failure, literally a few seconds after the referee blew the whistle to start the second half, we were presented with a problem charging people again who had attended the abandoned game.
Technically we would be entitled to charge as normal for this rescheduled game but it would be difficult to know who had paid and who did not actually attend the first fixture.
We feel it would be best to throw the whole game open free of charge to everyone who wishes to attend with the option of making a without obligation "Pay What You Want" donation on leaving the game.
We are also giving a way 100 free family tickets (up to 2 adults & 2 children) to all the primary schools in the Hucknall area.
These tickets will then go into a draw for a school to win footballs.
It is also our club Christmas party that evening which is free entry with live band and buffet.
We all hope that this is considered the fairest option in the circumstances.

Best Wishes
Andy G.
