Hucknall started well but Steveley was coming into the game more and more as the game went on. Marley Hamilton opened the scoring after picking up a loose ball inside the box on 14 mins. Staveley leveled things up from the spot at 18 mins and took the lead on 35 mins.

Staveley extended the lead with a superb strike on the hour mark. Matt Brian did pull one back with a powerful shot but Town couldn't find the third.

All in all another good workout for the lads and for a pre-season match a rather entertaining game.
