Hucknall Town was in double header action against local rivals Eastwood Community. The reserves was first up at Eastwood’s PlaySoccer USA Arena in the CMFL Reserves League Cup. Eastwood's Reserves came out 2-1 winners with Cayne Maxwell returning from holiday getting Town's only goal. This meant the reserves defence of the cup ended at the first round.

But the main event was at Watnall Road, and a five star performance saw Hucknall Town book their place in the first round proper of the Buildbase FA Vase, a 200+ crowd saw the yellows trash their local rivals 5-0. Goals from Joe Ashurst, Josh Henry, Adam Nelson and a brace from ex-Eastwood player Matt Brian.
