GALLOWAY AND MILLER SPEAK!
posted:13/08/08 14:23 Mick Galloway and Andy Miller (pictured) have spoken following our defeat against Gainsborough Trinity last night.
"We were desperately disappointed the performance and the result on Tuesday against Gainsborough Trinity.
If anybody had been in the changing rooms after the game then you would all have seen how gutted the players were to have lost the game.
Nobody spoke for about 20 minutes.
What it showed is that the players really care about the fans and the club.
We know what we did wrong against Gainsborough on Tuesday, and we will work on the issues in training on Thursday night.
What we will say though,is that nobody stopped working.
We can accept being beaten by sides with better technical ability than ourselves, but what we cant accept is losing to sides that we really should do better against.
We didnt get out of the starting blocks quick enough. For the first 15-20 minutes we didnt play.
But we came back into it later on and looked dangerous for long periods of the game".
