Callum Orange scores two goals in last 5mins of the game

Hucknall Town Reserves entertained Keyworth United Reserves at the RM Stadium on Saturday in this NSL Division One fixture.
Yellows had played midweek and grabbed a decent result against FCV Academy, but were without new striker Brad Evans and midfielder Joe Akolwa who had both been promoted to the First team.

Hucknall looked leggy in the opening stages and all too often played the ball long rather than trying to build the play. Keyworth found some space in behind and looked dangerous. A long ball to the far post was missed by Kai Byron and the opposition winger found the net with a good first time shot.
This finally woke-up Hucknall and they created several chances to equalise, but Vere and the Orange brothers of Callum and Kieran just couldn't find the target, with Orange smashing post after a trademark turn and shot.
Half time: Hucknall Town Reserves 0-1 Keyworth United Reserves

Early in the second half the opposition had to change their keeper who suffered a head injury and soon after Hucknall made a triple change with Ridley-Phoenix, Peate and Pearson all entering the game. It was Peate who got Hucknall back onto level terms when he danced around his markers on the edge of the box and calmly slotted home. However, all thoughts that this would signal the floodgates to open for Hucknall were dismissed when Keyworth grabbed a second and shortly afterwards a third goal looked to have won them the game.
But Yellows had other ideas and after changing formation they were rewarded with 2 goals in 5mins from Callum Orange. Yellows could have nicked all three points, but several late chances went begging and the scores finished equal.
We’re happy with the fightback, but Hucknall need to reach the levels we expect from the first whistle and not just the final moment of a game. That said, all credit to the opposition who played really well.
