Hucknall Town Football Club turn their attention away from league pressures this Saturday as they travel to face Belper United in the Isuzu FA Vase First Round Proper. Following a frustrating 4–1 home defeat to Deeping Rangers last weekend, newly appointed manager Tris Whitman’s side have a prime opportunity to wipe the slate clean, find their rhythm, and spark a cup run.

The cup tie offers a timely distraction for The Yellows, who are determined to put right the costly errors and red cards that halted their momentum at the RM Stadium last Saturday. Knockout football often brings out the best in this squad, and a strong performance on the road is exactly what is needed to get the season firmly back on track.

The Opposition

Belper United will also look at this fixture as a chance to reset. They head into Saturday's game on the back of a 2–0 league defeat against Eastwood CFC last weekend. Competing alongside Hucknall in the United Counties League Premier Division North, Belper are a familiar foe, and both teams will know exactly what it takes to book a spot in the next round.

Match Details & Travel Information

With a place in the second round up for grabs, the lads need your brilliant away support to carry them through. Note that Belper United currently groundshare, so the match will not be played in Belper itself.
