NEXT UP AND VIEWS FROM THE MANAGER...

Skegness Town v Yellows

On Saturday we travel to Skegness Town in the UCL Premier Division North at the Vertigo Stadium.

Bolstered by a good win on Saturday in the cup, Manager Reece Limbert knows this will be a difficult match, but Saturday's performance will give the squad confidence going into the weekend.

"It was a great win at the weekend where we started the game brightly, scoring after just two minutes. Apart from a 15 minute window shortly after where we let Lutterworth back into the game, we looked extremely convincing for the majority of the game and I’m pleased with the overall performance. I felt that a result like that had been coming for several weeks now and we always felt that there would be a game where we put a few past someone and develop that ruthless side to the game. Saturday we did just that with a hat-trick from Niall Towle, Ethan Hulley with a screamer, and Luis Parkes and Brad Wells wrapping up the game with a goal each too. We now have to take that ruthlessness into coming games and take confidence from that performance. Granted there will be tougher games this season, but we’ve shown we can score consistently and we have to put games to bed early like we did at the weekend".

Skegness are likely to be a different proposition to Lutterworth, but the Manager knows the prize on offer, which is to move further up the table. "Saturday will be a challenging fixture. We lost late on there last season and we have to enter that game knowing a win pushes us further up the league and away from the lower part of the table".

The match kicks off at 3pm and the details for any travelling fans are:-
