Tomorrow afternoon we make the trip to Lincoln United in the UCL Premier Division North.

With a new Management and Coaching team appointed, this will be their first match in charge.

They were all in attendance at the mid week match at Newark & Sherwood and Manager Tris Whitman gave his account. "It was a great chance to meet the lads personally and get to see them play. The game was very even, with ourselves probably shading things in terms of possession and chances. We deservedly took a one nil lead and at that point momentum was with us. Sherwood started to look more threatening as the game went on and started to threaten in behind which resulted in them scoring from two situations from wide areas. We looked deflated to surrender the lead but still had some moments but it wasn’t to be".

Lincoln who have had a great start to the season will present a challenge but after an excellent training session last night Yellows will be up for that challenge.
