An outstanding performance in all areas of the pitch and two goals from Brad Wells means Yellows will face Newark & Sherwood Utd in the final of the Nottinghamshire FA Saturday Senior Cup at a date and venue to be confirmed.

A resolute performance at the back nullified the few chances that Basford created and Brad Wells scored in the 15th minute after a super ball in from Joe Ashurst before Wells doubled his tally on 37 minutes to give Yellows a 2-0 lead at the break, dominating play. Basford offered a little more in the second half but Yellows had the better chances and deservedly booked their place in the final, along with a clean sheet too.
