Four wins from the first five games for Reserves.

Hucknall Town Reserves fifth game of the season saw them welcome close neighbours Kimberley MW FC Reserves to Watnall Road in a repeat of the previous weeks cup fixture between the two clubs First teams.
Once again Hucknall made changes with Skipper Rick Clayton, Montell Gatland, Joe Heverin and Fraser Hallam all returning and Ally Staley making his first start of the season.

Reserves got off to a blistering start and could have taken the lead from their first attack when Fraser Hallam sped to the right goal line and pulled a ball back to Callum Orange who narrowly failed to find the target. Hucknall had the better of things early on and were rewarded for some good play when a neat move saw Orange find Joe Heverin at the far post to open the scoring.
10mins later Heverin made it two when he latched onto a great long clearance from keeper Blaine McGrory and calmly slotted home for his second.
Half time: Hucknall Town Reserves 2-0 Kimberley MW FC Reserves

David Briggs replaced Montell Gatland for the start of the second half and soon after Josh Vere entered the game to replace Fraser Hallam. Kimberley started to find their rhythm, but Hucknall still looked dangerous on the break. The Kimberley goalkeeper worked his socks off to keep his team in the game. Firstly he tipped a lobbed shot that looked bound for the back of the net away to safety and moments later he made a great save from a penalty to deny Heverin his hat trick. Lindo missed the target from close range with the opposition defenders bearing down on him and Brad Palmer saw his stinging shot well saved. Reece Gatland replaced Orange who had to leave the field due to injury. With the score remaining at 2-0 Kimberley clearly felt they could get something from the game and they continue to probe the Town backline looking for a killer ball. But the Hucknall defence held strong and an amazing last-minute block from Kuba Adamczyk typified their determination not to concede. In the final moments of the game David Briggs grabbed Hucknall’s third when he raced clear of the last man to round the keeper and force the ball over the line. Hucknall's final substitution of the day saw Tommy Holgate come on to make his debut.
Final score: Hucknall Town Reserves 3-0 Kimberley MW FC Reserves
